Music Website Designer Artists, DJs & the Music Industry
Music Industry Web Design
I’m Lee, the freelance designer behind Dreamkatcha. I create WordPress websites for musicians, DJs, bands, record labels, artist agencies and recording studios. Your website should express your sound and identity while making it easy to listen, explore your work and get in touch.
I make music myself, and my design portfolio includes work for artists and music businesses. Based in Berkshire, I work with clients in London and across the UK. You work directly with me, from the first ideas through to the finished website.
Built Around Your Next Step
A new release, tour or artist roster gives your website a clear job to do. I help you decide what visitors need first, then build the design around that purpose. A focused artist page and a larger label website need different structures, features and budgets.
We agree the pages, content, integrations and revisions before work begins. We also discuss hosting, paid tools and ongoing support so you can plan the full cost. Explore my website portfolio to see the range of work, or send me your brief for a tailored quote.
Your Music Beyond Social Media
Social and streaming platforms help people discover your music. Your website gives those visitors a consistent destination for your biography, releases, press material, live dates and booking details.
Instead of sending a promoter through several profiles, bring the important information together on your own domain. Fans can choose where to listen, and industry contacts can find the right person to speak to. Your website can work alongside the platforms you already use, with the links and supported integrations agreed for your project.

Multi-Sensory Integration
Audio-visual congruent presentation leads to a more intense and emotional response.
Stimulate the mind and senses by having a dynamic website that captivates your audience.
Artist Branding & Mobile Design
Bring your photography, artwork, colours and typography into a consistent website identity. Clear navigation and layouts that work on phones help fans move from discovering your music to listening, buying a ticket or making contact.
WordPress Content Management
Keep agreed content such as news, images, biographies and show dates up to date through WordPress. We plan which areas you will manage yourself and what help you need after launch. Larger design changes and ongoing maintenance can be scoped separately.
Releases & Discography
Give singles, EPs and albums a clear place in your catalogue, with artwork, release information and listening or purchase links. Spotify, SoundCloud and other supported players can be included where they suit the page and your available accounts.
Social & Streaming Links
Make it easy to find your downloads, records and merchandise. Depending on your brief, the website can link to an existing shop or include an online store. Product setup, payment services, delivery requirements and any recurring fees need to be agreed in advance.
Music & Merchandise
Sell your track downloads, CDs, or any other merchandise you have to offer directly from your website.
I can show you how to easily add to and edit your products and stock from your mobile phone or laptop.
News & Mailing Lists
Share release announcements, studio updates and tour news in one place. An email sign-up can connect to your chosen mailing-list service, with a clear explanation of what subscribers will receive. Keep fans informed between releases without relying only on social feeds.
Press Kits & Media
Give promoters, journalists and booking teams an organised place to find your biography, approved press photographs, music, videos and contact details. An electronic press kit can be a dedicated page or part of your artist website, depending on how you want to share it.
Live Dates & Bookings
Help fans find the venue, date and ticket link for each show. Make booking or management enquiries easy to direct to the right person. Ticket links or supported booking tools can be included, with any external service requirements checked as part of the brief.
Websites for the Music Industry
Planning Your Music Website
An artist website needs to serve fans and industry contacts. A label, agency or studio may need a different route through its work. I plan the content around the people using it, so the design has a practical purpose as well as a distinctive look.
For artists, bands and DJs, we can prioritise releases, live dates, a press kit and booking details. For a record label or management agency, the starting point may be an artist roster, catalogue and clear professional contacts. For a recording studio, visitors may need to compare services, hear examples and understand how to enquire.
The first step is a conversation about your audience and what the website needs to achieve. Send your current website, existing branding, photography and a few examples of the direction you like. Tell me about any release or tour deadline, the pages you need and the platforms you want to connect. Use my web design brief template to gather the details before we talk.
I use that brief to plan the structure and design. We review the work together and agree the content and functionality before launch. Search-friendly foundations include clear page topics, descriptive headings, readable content and relevant links. Ongoing promotion and SEO should be planned alongside the website where needed.
Your budget depends on the scope: a single release page, a full artist website and a catalogue-led music business site involve different work. Contact me for a project quote, or read the cost and timeline guidance before we talk. Logo design, branding and supporting graphics are included as part of the website project, with the deliverables agreed in your brief. You can also explore my graphic design work.
Music Website Project: Marcella Woods
Marcella Woods’ website is an example of my music website design work. The site brings artist photography, release information, listening and purchase links, live bookings and tour dates together under one identity.
It shows the different jobs an artist website needs to handle: introducing the performer, helping fans find music and events, and giving industry contacts a route to the booking team. The project image below shows the design presented in my portfolio; the live website may change as new releases and dates are added.

Discuss your music website with me — send your current site, ideas and target launch date.
